Setaram invites you to attend a new Webinar about the Characterization of Phase Change Materials for Heat Storage that will take place Thursday, November 26, 2020.
Phase Change Materials (PCM) for Heat Storage, i.e. Thermal Energy Storage (TES) are materials for temporary storage of thermal energy at high or low temperatures. As most of the renewable energy sources (solar, wind, etc) are intermittently available, the target of TES is to improve performance of energy systems with a smoother supply and an increased reliability. PCM uses latent heat for energy storage through the phase transition of the materials.
The webinar will focus on how the thermal analysis and calorimetric methods can be used to investigate the different PCM materials thanks to the characterization of their transitions.
